During the period 6-10 May 2024, The Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) hosted select executives from the electrical industry at a leader development program hosted at the JB Duke Hotel and Conference Center in Durham, NC.  The exclusive program, labeled CEO Advanced Leadership Seminar (CALS) was tailored specifically for executives in the electrical industry and stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts between the IDB and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

The primary objective of CALS was clear: to furnish industry leaders with a transformative educational experience and equip them with tools and insights necessary to guide their companies toward increased growth and overall success. The resounding success of the seminar, as echoed through participant feedback, underscores its pivotal role in shaping the future of the electrical industry.

At the heart of CALS was a comprehensive focus on leadership development. Participants embarked on a journey of self-discovery, delving into the intricacies of their individual leadership styles. Armed with newfound self-awareness, they engaged in dynamic discussions and immersive learning experiences guided by esteemed faculty and industry peers.

Throughout the week-long program, participants gleaned invaluable knowledge and forged lasting connections within their professional network. These newfound insights and relationships will serve as cornerstones for driving best practices and optimizing outcomes within their respective companies.

The success of CALS would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our partners, faculty, and staff. Their collective efforts ensured the seamless execution of this program.
