Sydnie Thomas
Program Associate
Sydnie Thomas joined the Institute for Defense and Business in February 2025 as a Program Associate. In this role, she plays a key part in developing, designing, and delivering executive education programs for both the military and private sectors.
She holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. Before joining the Institute, Sydnie spent much of her career teaching 6th-grade math and is excited to apply her classroom experience to her new role at the IDB. Sydnie now resides in Durham, NC with her husband, Caleb. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies and spending quality time with family and friends.
