Nancy Olson

Nancy joined the Institute for Defense and Business in September 2026 and serves as the Accounting Manager. She is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. 

Prior to joining IDB, Nancy has worked in Accounting for small start-ups to large corporations, and has over 12 years experience with nonprofit organizations in the triangle area. Nancy grew up in New York and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Siena College before moving to North Carolina. She lives in Raleigh with her husband, Chris. They have two grown children living in the Carolinas.
