Mollie Brown

Mollie Brown joined the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) in March 2023 as a Program Associate and currently serves as an Associate Program Director. In this role, she supports the development, design, and delivery of executive education programs serving military, government, and private-sector leaders.

Mollie’s primary focus is the Aviation Industrial Readiness Program (AIR-P), where she leads the planning, coordination, and execution of program activities while managing relationships with participants, sponsors, faculty, and industry partners. She also supports the Continuous Improvement and Innovation for Executives (CI2E) program and other IDB executive education initiatives.

Prior to joining IDB, Mollie built a strong foundation in hospitality, event management, and client relations, including experience as a wedding planner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Conferences and Special Events and a minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 2020. Mollie currently resides in Durham, North Carolina, with her husband, Taylor, and their puppy, Dowdy. Originally from New Jersey, Mollie spent her summers at the Jersey Shore and remains a proud New Jersey native.
