Michael Brazinski
Program Associate
Michael Brazinski joined the Institute for Defense and Business in February 2025 as a Program Associate. Michael graduated from the College of Charleston in 2018 with a degree in Political Science and obtained a master’s degree in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in 2023.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Michael interned at the U.S. House of Representatives and later served in the Peace Corps in Myanmar. While pursuing his master’s degree, he gained valuable experience through internships at the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs Conventional Arms Branch (UNODA CAB) and international education non- profit, Team4Tech.
As a member of the IDB team, Michael aims to support IDB’s mission of providing cutting-edge training programs that foster collaboration and leadership across defense, government, and the private sector.
A native of western North Carolina, Michael, now lives in Durham. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and running, as well as trying new restaurants.
