Carter Rhyne

Carter Rhyne joined the Institute for Defense and Business in August 2023 as a Program Associate. Prior to joining IDB, Carter worked in the hospitality and golf operations industry in Whittier, NC at Smoky Mountain Country Club, where he developed relationships with members and ensured that operations ran efficiently each day.

Carter graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 2021 with a degree in Business Administration: Computer Information Systems with a minor in Visual Analytics from the Forsyth College of Business. As a student at Western Carolina, Carter spent time working alongside classmates to tackle various projects revolving around data, including housing market data in the Asheville area and the overall economic climate of North Carolina.

As a member of the IDB team, Carter aims to assist the military and private sector by assisting in delivering memorable executive education programs.
