Carter Rhyne
Business Operations Manager
Carter joined the Institute for Defense and Business in August 2023 as a Program Associate. Prior to joining IDB, Carter worked in the hospitality and golf operations industry in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Carter graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, along with a minor in Visual Analytics from the College of Business.
As Business Operations Manager with IDB, Carter supports the organization’s programs, finance, strategy, and executive management functions, with a focus on contract oversight and day-to-day operations.
Carter lives in Raleigh, NC with his fiancée, Emma, and their two dogs, Annie and Reuben.
