Mike Lyden leads Katahdin Associates LLC, assisting organizations with effective planning, execution and assessment of business Transformation. 

Previously, he established the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA} in Capellen, Luxembourg, a key element of the NATO Reform initiative. As General Manager he brought together NATO’s existing support agencies within an integrated Agency framework to enhance its mission of acquisition, logistics and support for over 50 NATO member and partner nations. 

A career US Navy Supply Corps Officer for 33 years, his final tour was as Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, and 45th Chief of the US Navy Supply Corps. As a Navy flag officer he worked across the joint and multinational spectrum with assignments as Commander. 

Defense Supply Center Richmond in the Defense Logistics Agency; and Director, Logistics and Security Assistance at the US European Command in Stuttgart. Germany. In Washington, he was a member of the Navy’s top leadership team as the Director of Logistics Operations for the Chief of Naval Operations. 

He currently serves on the boards of several community and national organizations focused on homelessness, education, conservation, and the Supply Corps. 

He received a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
