Tom has extensive experience as a maintenance and logistics leader generating large-scale flying operations across the United States, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His staff experience includes workload planning, weapon system health management, and budget development.
He has deep expertise in aircraft and component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), having served in multiple depot assignments and ultimately commanded the U.S. Air Force’s global supply chain and depot maintenance enterprise—an organization of 39,000 personnel across 26 locations.
Tom culminated his military career as the senior logistician for the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon, where he was responsible to the Chief of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force for resourcing and prioritizing $19 billion annually in weapon system sustainment and $12 billion in construction and repair programs.
He resides near Fort Worth, Texas and serves as an independent defense and leadership consultant.
