Deneane Stanley

Ms. Deneane Stanley, Marketing and Communications Manager, has been a member of the Institute for Defense & Business (IDB) team since 2014.
Deneane has over 30 years of experience in executive administration with both Government and Private Industry. Before joining IDB, she worked in the Washington, D.C. area with Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratories, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, NAVAIRSYSCOM, and United Medical Center. Deneane has also provided marketing and administrative support to a number of small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Deneane is an essential member of the IDB team. She facilitates events and activities both internally and externally and is a key point of contact for client relations and alumni engagement. Her knowledge, inspiration, and creative solutions ensure that the organization’s vision and mission are carried out.
Deneane is a creative whose passionate, intentional leadership inspires and motivates collaboration among teams to successfully accomplish goals and objectives.
Deneane is a certified Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR ®), a Notary for the State of North Carolina, and has received the Women’s Entrepreneurship Certificate from Cornell University. She is an entrepreneur, author, and spoken word artist. She continues to seek and seize opportunities to expand her knowledge, skills, and abilities as a life-long learner.
