A Tailored Learning Experience
The MLCSE program provides an immediate return on investment for students and their sponsors as students are able to directly apply their classroom knowledge to the workplace. The curriculum incorporates real-world challenges, projects, and team work into the courses. Throughout the program, students are asked to bring in current problems from their respective organizations and are assigned to create solutions designed specifically for that problem. By integrating distance education with residencies, employees can obtain this masters degree while continuing to work and contribute to their parent organization. Approximately 80% of the program is delivered on-line with 20% in residency. The four residencies and the courses will build upon each other and allow students to establish and maintain the group cohesion necessary to succeed in virtual teams.
