Indiana Motorsports Association

The Indiana Motorsports Association (IMA) is the voice for the Indiana motorsports industry. A unique and determined focal point in the racing community, the IMA has the reach to impact the creation of economic growth in the State of Indiana. A healthy racing industry in Indiana is good for the entire motorsports industry.

North Carolina Motorsports Association

The North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA) is the voice of the North Carolina Motorsports Industry on legislative and economic issues which are facing the industry. NCMA leadership watches the political climate and maintains relationships with legislators, county commissioners, mayors, and other regulatory bodies to present industry business’s position on various issues. The NCMA works behind the scenes to help keep the industry anchored and healthy in the State of North Carolina. In conjunction with working with local and state Chambers of Commerce and additional organizations such as the National Motorsports Coalition the NCMA communicates the industry position to state and federal legislators.

Defense Aquisition University

The Defense Acquisition University is the learning center for those involved in the acquisition field for the United States Department of Defense. DAU provides a full range of basic, intermediate, and advanced certification training, assignment-specific training, applied research, and continuous learning opportunities focusing on doing business with the US Government.

DAU offers a wide variety of distance learning courses, many available to the general public. Sample course titles include ACQ 101 Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, CON 101 Contracting Fundamentals, and CON 200 Business Decisions for Contracting. DoD Office of Small Business Programs

The Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) has some helpful information on doing business with the DoD. We have included some of that information below including information on marketing to the DoD, the basics of government contracting, and the fundamentals of subcontracting.
