Mr. Cramer is President of the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) and is executive director of the Center of Excellence in Logistics and Technology (LOGTECH) at UNC Chapel Hill.

Colonel Ted Brewer, USAF (Ret.) is Senior Vice President and Executive Secretary of the Institute for Defense and Business and is extensively involved in all of the programmatic offerings and operations of the Institute, including the LOGTECH, DAELP and CSER. His responsibilities include business development and expansions, public relations, forums and conferences, plus special projects with the Department of Defense.

Mr. Buzzi currently directs the Executive level LOGTECH programs as well as a number of other IDB program initiatives.

Ms. Carpenter is responsible for the financial operations and human resources functions.

Ms. Esposto cultivates and manages Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) relationships with leading defense contractors.  In this capacity, she recruits private sector students, participants, and speakers for all IDB programs, including the LOGTECH Advanced, Executive, and MBA Programs as well as the Log21 and Master in Life Cycle Engineering Programs.

Center for Stabilization and Economic Reconstruction (CSER) Executive Director

Ambassador Litt (Ret.) is Executive Director of the IDB’s Center for Stabilization and Economic Reconstruction (CSER).

Mr. Mann is responsible for the operational planning and execution of the IDB's Center for Stabilization and Reconstruction (CSER) programs.

 Van W. Noah, P.E. Van W. Noah, P.E.
Program Director and Assistant Treasurer

Mr. Noah is the Program Director for the LOGTECH MBA and the Advanced LOGTECH executive course as well as IDB's new Life Cycle Management Programs:  a week-long Life Cycle Executive Leeadership Program (LCELP) and a Master of Life Cycle Systems Engineering Degree.    He is also responsible for research and other special programs and projects for the Institue for Defense and Business.

Ted Sturgeon is currently the Program Director for the Depot Arsenal Executive Leadership Program of the Institute for Defense and Business, joining the team in August of 2007.

Program Manager and Assistant Secretary

 

Mrs. Warner manages the overall LOGTECH MBA Program. She also oversees and guides several marketing efforts, as well as maintains the IDB's three major web sites.

 D. Clay Whybark, Ph.D. D. Clay Whybark, Ph.D.
Academic Advisor

Dr. Whybark is a Macon G. Patton Distinguished Professor of operations, technology and innovation management. International manufacturing practices, planning and control systems, and strategy are among his areas of expertise. His industrial experience was with the Boeing Company and Douglas Aircraft. He has served as a consultant to a number of corporate and governmental organizations in various parts of the world and was instrumental in the development of the LOGTECH program.
